I am a philosopher and a scholar of early modern philosophy. My research focuses primarily on Leibniz, but I have interests in other figures as well, including Hutcheson, Hume, and Reid. In my research and teaching, I try to display the relevance of the history of philosophy to ongoing philosophical inquiry.
